Hello everyone, History is another passion of mine and for this new matte painting I was inspired by a World War I photo I found on Internet. The photo was small and bad quality but it gave me enough information and feeling to make me "build" this long forgotten battle place where a new day is about to come with it's hope.

I was inspired by my trip to Havana, a city I longed to see since I was a child. Seeing it I’ve realized that the beauty of this city exceeded my imagination.
It started as a fast painting but I kept adding more details and I couldn’t stop until it became the image of Havana I carried in my heart.
